Investment summary

Park’s recent AGM statement confirmed that trading year-to-date has been in line with expectations, despite post-Brexit economic uncertainty and growing pressures on consumer disposable income, and expresses confidence in the outlook. Highlighting the growth in order books, particularly in Christmas prepayments, total cash balances (both shareholder balances and the segregated customer balances on which Park earns interest) have continued to increase and are again ahead of the same period last year. Supporting this growth are a number of new initiatives, including the roll-out of its new Christmas savings mobile app as well as the global extension of its ‘Evolve’ digital corporate rewards and incentivisation platform. Park’s debt-free balance sheet and cash-generative business model supports continuing investment, as well as an attractive growing dividend.
