PowerHouse Energy Group (PHE); signs first international agreement for deploying DMG® process

PHE has announced its first international distribution agreement to deploy DMG, its proprietary hydrogen from waste (HfW) process, in hydrogen bus projects in Bulgaria and Romania.

The arrangement is a binding three-way binding agreement between PHE, Waste2tricity and Tresoil, and will seek to partner with Wrightbus to deploy PowerHouse’s DMG technology in the zero emission hydrogen buses manufactured by the latter. The companies see potential for deploying the buses in many cities apart from Bucharest and Sofia, where the initial deployments will happen. The companies believe the potential for the technology is boosted by Bulgaria and Romania’s need to fulfil EU directives on reducing pollutants and particulates.

Keith Allaun, CEO of PHE, commented: “The environmental challenges in both Bulgaria and Romania are well documented and there is clearly a determined approach in both countries to take on the pollution problem. PHE technology provides the ideal solution, particularly now as bus companies have started to replace the aging bus fleets.”
